The situation
Shipments, carriers, leads, and billing lived in disconnected spreadsheets and inboxes. The team paid for multiple sync subscriptions just to move data around — and still re-typed half of it.
What we built
- Complete operations database in Airtable — shipments, carriers, leads, billing, all connected
- Role-based interfaces for ops, sales, and leadership
- AI lead response: every new lead gets a drafted personalized reply for one-click sending
- Custom data pipeline syncing their TMS into the database every 15 minutes — replacing $100+/month of middleware with a zero-cost integration mapping 200+ fields
The result
Lead response went from hours to minutes. Leadership sees live pipeline and performance without asking anyone for a report. The middleware subscriptions were cancelled — the sync now costs nothing to run.
Finance Ops
Commission day went from a week of spreadsheets to a 10-minute review
A logistics company calculated commissions for six sales reps by hand every month — different rates, different tiers, different bonus pools. It took days and still produced disputes.
The situation
Each rep had a different structure: tiered percentage scales, division-specific splits, referral overrides, and team bonus pools with performance multipliers. One person rebuilt it all in a spreadsheet, monthly, from raw data.

- A live commission dashboard calculating directly from operational shipment data
- Tiered rate engine (5–15%) with per-rep rules and sliding scales

The result
Six-figure monthly gross profit across four divisions now reconciles itself. Commission review takes minutes, disputes dropped because every number traces to its source shipment, and reps can see where they stand mid-month.
HR & People Ops
HR that runs itself — for a team split across two continents
A company with US staff and a large international contractor team managed leave, payroll prep, overtime, and benefits through messages and memory. Requests got lost; month-end was chaos.
The situation
No HRIS. Time-off requests arrived by chat. Overtime was tracked loosely. A company benefits fund existed but had no ledger. Payroll prep meant chasing people for numbers every month.
What we built
- A 16-table people-operations system: employees, time off, onboarding/offboarding, payroll records, overtime logs, benefits fund, monthly check-ins
- A self-service web app where staff request time off and see balances — managers approve or decline straight from an email button
- Approved leave syncs to the team calendar automatically
- Payroll provider integration and end-of-month payment batching for overtime
- Benefits fund with automatic monthly deposits and an approval flow for withdrawals
The result
Requests stopped getting lost — every approval is logged, balances update themselves, and the calendar always shows who's out. Month-end payroll prep became a checklist instead of a scramble.

A mid-size construction company tracked active projects in spreadsheets and email threads. Leadership's only view across sites was calling each project manager.

An agency managing a global luxury fashion brand's affiliate program needed client-facing performance reporting — pulled live from a data warehouse, not assembled by analysts.
The situation
Performance data lived in Amazon Redshift. Turning it into client-ready reporting meant manual queries and spreadsheet exports — repeated for every reporting cycle, in multiple currencies.

- A live dashboard with a Python API backend querying the warehouse directly
- Publisher, campaign, and commission performance across USD, GBP, and EUR
